21 new trainees start their careers at MIPA

On 1 September 2025, MIPA SE welcomed 15 new trainees to its headquarters in Essenbach, who are starting their professional careers in nine different fields of training. Another six trainees began their training at Mipa Direkt GmbH in two different apprenticeship programmes.

The first day of training was all about getting to know each other and offered a varied programme: after the official welcome and a company presentation, there was a specialist lecture on the subject of paints and varnishes. The trainees then gained insights into the company’s operations in groups during tours of the company and through practical painting demonstrations and airbrush demonstrations. A group photo and lunch with parents and trainers rounded off the morning. In the afternoon, the trainees got to know the departments personally and took part in a special departmental course for industrial clerks.

A two-day introductory event then gave the trainees an intensive start. In addition to instruction on important topics such as occupational safety, IT security and data protection, the programme included joint lunches and a varied team-building programme. This gave the young professionals an overview of their job profiles and training content and allowed them to get to know their new colleagues better.

MIPA currently trains around 50 apprentices in various professional fields. The spectrum ranges from commercial and industry-specific training to general technical training. Promoting young talent has been a high priority at MIPA SE for many years. After successfully completing their training, young professionals have excellent career opportunities – both at the headquarters in Essenbach and internationally. In addition to its seven German production sites, the Mipa Group operates a close-knit network of over 60 sales companies in Europe. At the same time, its regional roots in the Landshut area make MIPA an attractive employer with a strong local presence.
